Turku School of Economics

Turku School of Economics (TSE) is one of largest economic science education providers in Finland with its 2,400 students. TSE is specialized in business knowledge in the global environment, foresight and entrepreneurship.

The atmosphere at TSE is international: every year, about 200 foreign students study here either as an exchange or degree student. TSE offers a versatile selection of business economics-related fields and other commercial and economic subjects as well as foreign languages. As a producer of skilled professionals for the working community along with high-quality research, TSE is a pioneer in economic thinking and an important actor in society.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship

TSE’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship module is based on long experience in entrepreneurship and innovation research, teaching and development. TSE is the leading European entrepreneurship research organization. We have about 20 professors and researchers working in the field of entrepreneurship, innovations being one of the main research themes.

The module gives students a comprehensive picture of current issues in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, ICT and related industries are the areas of interest within the module. The various parts of the module are linked one to another and advance from general to more specific issues. The idea is to provide the student with the understanding and working tools to start-up and develop a business. Growth and internationalization issues are also central.
